Google Will Pay Off Employee Student Loans: US$ 2,500 per Person
Google is a multinational company engaged in several business industries.
With so the number of employees has also reached thousands of people around the world.
However, Google does not mean that it does not pay attention to the welfare of its employees.
Launching from Business Insider, a company based in the US said that it would help its employees to pay off student loans.
The new policy was reported directly by Google on Thursday (23/9).
It is known that in the tuition system in the US, there is a program called Student Loan.
So students will be given assistance in the form of money loans provided by the campus to students.
However, the loan must be returned to the lender and is valid for a lifetime.
This is what is said to be a "trap" for some students.
Even Student Loans in America are recorded to be a high debt burden when compared to other countries.
Business Insider said that the total debt has exceeded 1.5 trillion USD.
That way, Google also said that it would pay off student loan debt of its employees of US$ 2,500 for each person.
In addition, the company will also create a new Student Loan program that is claimed to be better.
Director of Google's Global Benefits, John Casey, said that the assistance would be carried out through two sources, namely the Black Googler Network and the Black Leadership Advisory Group.
The new program is also seen as one of the few benefits of Google's policy to let employees work from home.
As we know, Google has indeed implemented a WFH policy for approximately six months.
However, 62 percent of employees are now starting to feel bored and ask to return to work from the office on a part-time basis.
