The Famous House of Dior Until Now Has Not Escaped the Struggles of the Designer, Christian Dior
Christian Dior, who was born January 21, 1905, is the second of five children.
The famous House of Dior until now has not escaped the struggle of the designer, namely Christian Dior or better known as Dior.
Starting from his love for the world of art, he led Dior to open a small art gallery with a sum of money borrowed from his father.
The art gallery was founded in 1928, after Dior decided to stop his education at the Ecole des Sciences Politiques.
However, his art gallery trip had to stop in 1931 due to the worldwide economic crisis.
One of the efforts made by Dior to survive the economic crisis was selling his fashion sketches to fashion lovers.
In 1937 he decided to join a fashion designer, namely Robert Piguet, but World War II that occurred required him to quit his job and choose to become a soldier in Southern France.
On December 16, 1946 Dior succeeded in establishing his own fashion house, namely Christian Dior.
In showing her love for art, she always shows beautiful body shapes and silhouettes in each of her designs, as seen in the picture above, which is her first outfit design.
Dior's most famous collection is referred to as the "New Look" which replaces the World War II style of fashion depicting the "soul" or soul of feminism and the beauty of fashion originating in France.
In the first design, Dior depicts the shoulders with the upper waist line combined with the wide skirt giving a full impression which can be seen in the image above.
However, at that time his work did not get a warm welcome, the design he made was heavily criticized and considered too exciting and seemed heavy.
This is because women at that time used to use cloth for limited clothing, so the Dior design at that time was considered a waste of cloth use.
Due to a sense of nationalism in his country, Dior did not eliminate French fashion in every fashion design he made.
Dior continues to experiment on the fashion designs he makes.
Until now, his works have become "legends" that never die.
In 1955 Dior introduced the spring collection.
The design is referred to as "A Line", which is a skirt or dress with a less visible waist and is combined with a subtle silhouette extending over the hips and legs that resemble the letter A.
Currently, Dior fashion stores can be found in various countries in the world, including Indonesia.
From the fashion designs made by Dior, she wants to show feminist elements and elements of "Le Parissienne" that women have the right to be privileged by looking charming using a variety of beautiful and elegant clothes.
Based on the information above, the Dior fashion house can become a legend today because the designs are made to keep up with the times with their elegant characteristics.
