One Piece: 5 Characters Who Might Be Able to See the Future With Enhanced Observation Haki (Kenbunshoku Haki)

Haki is one of the most valuable and extraordinary abilities in the One Piece series, especially if they want to be the strongest or be able to survive in the cruelty of the New World ocean.

Of the three types of Haki that exist, Observation Haki (Kenbunshoku Haki) is one of the most frequently used Haki by characters.

By using the Observation Haki ability, the user can "see" what ordinary people cannot, such as predicting attacks, sensing the emotions of other people's existence, and so on. 

However, the most remarkable thing about Observation Haki is being able to see into the future. 

This is the highest level of Observation Haki and it is known that only two people have this ability, namely Luffy and Katakuri. 

However, these characters have the potential to have the same abilities. Anyone?

1. Vinsmoke Sanji 

Sanji the black leg is the mainstay chef of the Straw Hat pirate group and is the third most powerful crew, after Luffy and Zoro. 

According to Eiichiro Oda in an SBS column it was mentioned that Sanji specializes in Observation Haki. 

That is, Sanji is the character who is most trained in the use of this Haki.

Sanji himself awakened his Haki ability when he fought against Ivankov and his subordinates in the Kamabakka kingdom during the time-skip. 

With the rise of Sanji's Observation Haki, his abilities have increased quite dramatically. 

Sanji himself has actually shown signs that he can see into the future, such as when he avoided Katakuri's attack in the Whole Cake Island arc.

2. Koby

One of the Rear Admirals of the navy. Koby is currently under the leadership of X Drake, where Koby is part of the secret naval organization SWORD. 

Kobi's Haki ability itself was initially accidentally awakened, when he heard the voices of the navy soldiers during the great war at Marineford. 

According to Helmeppo, Koby is very skilled in using Observation Haki.

Koby was then trained by Monkey D. Garp, including practicing his Haki abilities. Although Koby has not shown any signs that he is looking to the future, with the training he does, it is only a matter of time until Koby is able to awaken this supreme ability. 

Koby himself aspires to become an admiral. 

By being able to see into the future, Koby is one step closer to his dream.

3. Usopp

Usopp is one of the Straw Hat crew and also the sniper of his crew – as well as the person who creates various objects. 

During the time-skip, Usopp trains on the island of Boin with Heracles. 

After very intense training, Usopp grew into a much stronger figure. 

And in the Dressrosa arc it was shown how Usopp managed to awaken his Haki ability.

In this moment Usopp is shown to be able to see his target in the form of an aura, from a great distance and even blocked by a wall. 

Although Usopp's Observation Haki is not as great as Sanji and Luffy's, with practice and fighting experience Usopp will become more proficient in the use of this Haki and ultimately he will be able to see into the future. 

And considering that Usopp is a sniper in the Straw Hats, it's only natural that he has this ability.

4. Shanks

Shanks is one of the four rulers of the ocean aka Yonko in the One Piece story. 

Shanks is one of the strongest pirates, even though he doesn't have a devil fruit ability. 

Shanks really rely on his Haki ability which is very extraordinary. 

That's why it's only natural that Shanks can master all three Haki at once.

So far Shanks has been shown to be very skilled in using ruler Haki as well as Armament Haki (Busoshoku Haki).

However, for Observation Haki itself is still not too much shown. Even so, it is believed that Shanks also has extraordinary Observation Haki. 

And it is even believed that Shanks will be able to see into the future with this powerful Haki ability.

5. Roronoa Zoro

Zoro is the second strongest person in the Straw Hat Pirates. 

He is also the commander or right-hand man of Luffy. 

Like Sanji, in the SBS column it is known that Zoro has expertise in the use of Armament Haki. 

This was natural considering he was one of the best swordsmen. 

And it was recently discovered that Zoro is capable of using Ruler Haki.

Although it is unknown whether Zoro has the ability to Observation Haki, but there is growing speculation among fans that it is possible that one day Zoro will awaken his Observation Haki. 

And when that happens, Zoro will be able to see into the future after he has mastered and trained his Haki.

The ability to be able to see situations or conditions in the future is the ability ng is extraordinary, because not everyone is able to do it or resurrect it. 

This ability will certainly allow someone to master the situation of the match, because he knows what will happen next.
