Jujutsu Kaisen: How Strong is Yuta Okkotsu?

The latest film in the popular Jujutsu Kaisen series, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, introduces fans to Yuta Okkotsu who is the main protagonist in the film's story. 

Who exactly is Yuta Okkotsu? 

How strong is his figure? 

And how is his role in the story in the Jujutsu Kaisen series? 

The figure of Yuta Okkotsu may still be foreign to the ears of the anime series fans.

Even so, in fact the name Yuta Okkotsu himself was mentioned or referenced in the story. 

This can be seen in the moment of Kyoto Goodwill, where in the story we are introduced to the figures of Aoi Todo and Mai Zenin from the Kyoto Jujutsu Vocational School. 

At that time, Aoi Todo asked why the Tokyo Jujutsu Vocational School did not include Yuta.

Aoi actually attacks Megumi Fushiguro because she is so eager to be able to fight against Yuta Okkotsu. 

Why then did Aoi Todo really want to fight Yuta's figure? 

It seems that this has something to do with the strength and ability he has. Then, how strong is Yuta Okkotsu really?

The Cursed Energy He Has

The first thing his comrades at Jujutsu Vocational High School realized when they first met Yuta was the amount of curse energy he had. 

Yuta Okkotsu is known to have an extraordinary amount of curse energy. 

In fact, it was said that the amount of cursed energy he possessed was almost unlimited.

What is also epic is that the amount of curse energy possessed by Yuta is able to exceed the amount of curse energy possessed by the strongest Jujutsu character and magician in the series, Gojo Satoru. 

With curse energy being the main power source of everything in the Jujutsu Kaisen series and the amount of curse energy Yuta has, meaning he can increase his strength, speed and all sorts of things without worrying about running out of curse energy.

Yuta is even able to coat the weapons he uses with cursed energy, which makes Yuta capable of producing tremendous destructive power. 

All these cursed energies would be useless if Yuta didn't know how to use them. 

Luckily, Yuta managed to develop various ways to manipulate his curse energy.

Yuta is also known to be able to perform a reverse cursed technique, a very rare ability that allows Yuta to heal himself and his colleagues, by converting the negative energy within him into positive energy.

Few Jujutsu mages as well as cursed monsters possess such abilities, and even fewer of them possess the ability to heal. 

The newest ability known about Yuta's figure is how he is able to imitate other people's abilities or curse techniques.

In the manga series, Yuta has practiced this by imitating Toge Inumaki's abilities. 

Even so, it was still a big question how many abilities he could imitate and whether there was a limit to his abilities that made him no longer able to imitate the enemy's abilities.

Rika

Although his abilities are very powerful and his curse energy level is very abundant, one thing that makes Yuta Okkotsu a figure to be reckoned with is his partner, the cursed monster named Rika. 

Rika is known to be a cursed monster who is able to think and move on her own. 

He is also said to be capable of destroying entire cities.

Suguru Geto, a Jujutsu mage who likes to collect cursed monsters, even calls Rika the "Curse Queen." Geto even has a plan to later capture Rika and make her one of his collections. 

Geto mentioned that by owning Rika, his chances of winning increased sharply from 20-30% to 99%.

Even though Rika is a dangerous cursed monster, under Yuta's control, Rika can turn into a terrible "weapon". 

Rika can make Yuta's attacks even more powerful by increasing his attack distance, or storing cursed objects and energy in Rika's body. 

That way, in an emergency situation Yuta can still rely on the cursed energy stored in Rika's body.

As mentioned above, Rika is able to move and think on her own. 

However, his instincts are always trying to protect Yuta's figure without the need to get orders. 

This is also proof that Yuta has additional protection from Rika's figure. 

For Yuta, Rika is a source of power that no one will be able to stop.

How Strong Will Yuta Be in the Future?

Although Jujutsu Kaisen 0 only shows the initial story of the adventures of a Yuta Okkotsu, but in the latest chapter in the manga series, we can see how terrible the development that has been experienced by Yuta so far.

Not only had he become much more confident in his strength, Yuta now had the ability to use Domain Expansion.

With his ability to imitate other people's techniques, there is a possibility that Yuta's Domain Expansion was created to match the ability or strength of his enemy's Domain Expansion. 

If this is true, then it means that Yuta will be harder to beat by anyone.

Taking into account all the things described above, it seems natural that then Yuta Okkotsu is one of the four Jujutsu magicians who are at a special level. 

Not to mention, Yuta's story may still be quite long, making him the most powerful character in the series.
