Dragon Ball: Getting to Know Tarble, Vegeta's Forgotten Brother!
Vegeta is one of the most popular characters in the Dragon Ball franchise even in the anime and manga industry.
It seems almost no one who does not know the figure of Vegeta.
Apart from being angry and full of emotions due to his Saiyan nature, Vegeta's popularity is due to Vegeta being the eternal rival of the main protagonist of the series, Goku.
Talking about Vegeta's figure, maybe it won't be far from how he tries to become much stronger than Goku's figure.
We are also not told much about the origins of Vegeta, other than he is the son of King Vegeta, the ruler of the planet Vegeta.
However, do geeks know that Vegeta actually has a younger brother named Tarble.
Who is Tarble?
Unlike his brother, Tarble is a Saiyan who has a kind nature.
He doesn't have much aggression or fighting desire like most Saiyans in general.
You could say tarble is very similar to Goku's mother, Gine.
Because of this, Tarble was also considered a low-level Saiyan, which made his father King Vegeta really ashamed.
As a result, King Vegeta then expelled Tarble from his planet, which saved him from the attack by Frieza that led to the destruction of Vegeta's planet.
What's unique is that Tarble still has a tail, which is the hallmark of the Saiyans, although he leaves his tail untied and untied like the other Saiyans do.
This could be a sign of a lack of fighting aggression in him.
It is still unknown whether Tarble is able to transform into Great Ape form like his brother and father, although logically as a Saiyan Tarble should be able to transform.
Tarble also really respects his brother, even though the relationship between the two is not very close.
Tarble himself was first introduced to fans in the film Dragon Ball: The Return of Son Goku And Friends!, a film that was never dubbed or dubbed into English.
Tarble Past Story
Unlike Bulma, Gure is just as kind and easy-going as Tarble. This seems to show that Saiyans who don't have great aggression in themselves also have a tendency to look for women who are the same as him.
One day, the planet where Gure and Tarble live is attacked by two of Frieza's men, Abo and Cado.
However, because Tarble is not as strong and tough as his brother in terms of fighting, he finally goes to Earth to ask for help to protect the planet where he lives.
Although Tarble admits that he has become a strong figure like Frieza, but later those words are proven wrong when Goku defeats him, which proves that the Z-Fighter is actually much stronger than Tarble.
In the end, it was Trunks and Goten who then managed to defeat Abo and Cabo.
Apart from Dragon Ball: The Return of Son Goku And Friends!, Tarble almost never appears in other Dragon Ball series.
In the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of God, Tarble's name was referenced as an option in helping Goku to become Super Saiyan God.
However, the idea was later scrapped as Vegeta could not contact him nor did he know of his whereabouts.
Tarble also briefly appeared in the game Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle where he met Future Trunks.
What is a Canon Tarble?
Dragon Ball: The Return of Son Goku And Friends! technically not part of the series canon.
Tarble was mentioned in the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, but not in the anime adaptation.
Not only that, in Dragon Ball Super: Broly the name Tarble was also mentioned which made Tarble's canon status even more complex.
Based on this, it is difficult to determine whether Tarble is part of the character canon in the Dragon Ball series.
However, it is possible that Tarble in the movie Dragon Ball: The Return of Son Goku And Friends! different from Tarble in the version in the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
That is, it is not impossible that there are two versions of Tarble in the series.
