One Piece 1046 Spoiler: Rocks D. Xebec Is Still Alive! The Lurking Legend That Will Appear in Wano

One Piece author Eiichiro Oda previously said that there would be a Lurking Legend that would appear in the Wano Kuni Arc.

The instructions were conveyed by Eiichiro Oda in Jump Fiesta around 2018. 

This Lurking Legend will be a big enemy for Monkey D. Luffy and his friends.

The figure of the Lurking Legend is still a puzzle because until now, Eiichiro Oda has not given any other clues.

A number of One Piece fans abroad then mentioned several names, such as Shiki.

However, what if it turns out that the Lurking Legend figure who will appear in the Wano Kuni Arc is Rocks D. Xebec?

This refers to One Piece chapter 957 when the name Rocks D. Xebec was first introduced in Hina and Monkey D. Garp's dialogue in chapter 957.

In One Piece chapter 957, Garp said that Rocks D. Xebec was a legendary pirate who ruled the oceans 40 years ago.

Under the leadership of Rocks D. Xebec, consists of a great crew who are currently Yonko or emperors namely Edward Newgate (Whitebeard), Kaido, and Charlotte Linlin (Big Mom).

From Garp's story, the dominance of the Rocks D. Xebec pirates was finally overthrown after he formed an alliance with Roger to defeat him.

However, Garp didn't mention Rocks D. Xebec was dead. 

Garp only provides a dialogue like the following.

"If they reappear, the situation will be far more serious than we could have imagined," Garp said.

Garp wasn't bothered by Hina's worries about Big Mom and Kaido's alliance, but Garp was focused on something else.

Rocks D. Xebec's theory is also getting stronger with the formation of Kaido and Big Mom's alliance.

As is known, Big Mom formed an alliance with Kaido in the Wano Kuni Arc because Kaido has a huge debt of gratitude to Big Mom.

However, the question that arises then is why only now did Kaido and Big Mom form an alliance? Why not 10 years ago?

Members of the Rocks D. Xebec crew are also known to not get along with each other so it feels awkward if they form an alliance with each other.

However, members of the Rocks pirate crew could be reunited if the captain Rocks D. Xebec was still alive.

Kaido is predicted to keep Rocks D. Xebec's body until the time is right to restart the big war in One Piece.

The reason Kaido chose Wano as his hiding place is because Wano is a country that is closed from the outside world so there is no intervention from the Marines or the World Government.
