One Piece: List of 5 Whitebeard Pirates Ordered by Strength

There are many pirates who appear in the One Piece series.

5. Jozu

Jozu is the commander of the Whitebeard Pirates' 3rd Division. He's incredibly strong.

Jozu even survived a direct slash from Dracule Mihawk. He can also use Busoshoku Haki.

4. Marco the Phoenix

One Piece fans can expect a lot from the commander of Division 1, Marco.

Marco is known to have a bounty of 1,374,000,000, which is a strong indication of his strength.

He ate a Mythical Zoan fruit that could turn him into a phoenix. It gives him regenerative healing properties with his fire.

Marco was a great support unit in case the Whitebeard Pirates suffered an injury back then.

3. Kozuki Oden

Several decades ago, Kozuki Oden decided to leave the borders of Wano Country. He became the commander of the Whitebeard Pirates' 2nd division.

Oden is a swordsman who carries two powerful swords, Enma and Ame no Habakiri.

He permanently injured Kaido 20 years ago, something very few One Piece characters are capable of.

2. Marshall D. Teach - Blackbeard

Sometime in the past, Teach used to be a member of the Whitebeard Pirates.

However, he betrayed the crew when he killed Thatch, having obtained the Yami Yami no Mi in the process.

This powerful Devil Fruit allows Blackbeard to become the embodiment of darkness.

He can also cancel the Devil Fruit powers. Known as Blackbeard, he was solely responsible for destroying the Whitebeard Pirates in the Paramount War.

1. Edward Newgate - Whitebeard

With a bounty of 5,046,000,000, Whitebeard has the second highest bounty in the One Piece series.

Whitebeard was able to summon strong earthquakes through his Gura Gura no Mi. Whitebeard also wielded the Murakumogiri, an extremely powerful weapon classified as a Supreme Grade Sword.

Even in death, Whitebeard never turned his back on the enemy.
