One Piece: Gear 5 Luffy Forces Kaido to Reveal the New Form That Comes from the Uo Uo no Mi

As the epic fight between Luffy and Kaido draws to a close, the mighty Yonko reveals a powerful new form to contend with, with Luffy's fifth Gear.

Just as the epic One Piece battle between Luffy and Kaido was over, the mighty Yonko revealed a new form of his Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, which could be enough to overcome Luffy's Gear Fifth absurd abilities.

As quoted by Mindrakyat-Bekasi.com from the Screenrant page, the Wano Arc is the longest in the 25-year history of One Piece.

It centers around the confrontation between the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies.

After lengthy preparations, the pirates and their allies stormed the Onigashima fortress, where Kaido's army had gathered.

Despite their greater numbers, Kaido's army lost the battle.

The officers of the All Pirates have banded together with Big Mom, Kaido's most powerful ally and fellow Yonko.

However, Kaido himself is still standing, and if Luffy is not going to defeat him it will all be for naught as he is so strong that he can produce his own battle results.

The Straw Hats had the upper hand when Luffy awakened his Gear Fifth form, but Kaido still had a card up his sleeve.

At the end of chapter 1047, Luffy looks ready to start the fight, as he uses his newfound power to form a colossal view in the sky, ready to attack Kaido and the rest of Onigashima.

However, in chapter 1048, Kaido responds by taking a new form, which he calls the 'Great Blazing Dragon Torch'.

His entire body was on fire, and emitted a heat capable of melting rock.

The powerful Yonko fought in human form, beast form, and hybrid form before, but this flaming body is completely new.

Then Kaido takes to the skies with a technique called "Raising Dragon Flaming Bagua", intending to melt Luffy's greatest Gear 5 attack and this fight once and for all.

Kaido's power comes from the Uo Uo no Mi, the Seiryu Model of the Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit which gives him the ability to transform into an Azure Dragon.

However, like every other Mythical Zoan, this transformation comes with an extra power connected to the mythical creature.

Kaido has already shown that he is capable of manipulating the natural elements to a certain degree.

He can spit fire with the Bolo Breath technique, create wind blades with Kaifu, and even powerful tornadoes with Tatsumaki.

It wasn't surprising that he could manipulate and turn his body into a living hell, but the fact that he maintained this move, as a last resort meant that there was a possibility of his weakness.

The fight between Luffy and Kaido has been one of the best in the history of shnen manga.
