One Piece: Luffy's Alliance Grows?
The Straw Hat Pirates are currently one of the largest and most respected pirate crews in the world of One Piece.
This can be realized thanks to the extraordinary achievements they have experienced.
Starting from defeating the Shichibukai, breaking through the World Government facilities, challenging the World Government, and so on.
With all these achievements they also become the target of parties who are against Luffy.
With the increasing popularity of the Straw Hats, it is only natural that many would recognize them. In fact, in the Sabaody arc, there was a group of pirates who claimed to be the Straw Hats.
However, one of the epic achievements of the Straw Hats is how they now have a large fleet, namely the Straw Hat Grand Fleet or the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
The fleet contained a combination of several groups of pirates, who decided to become allies for the Straw Hats.
They are all a group of pirates that Luffy met while in Dressrosa.
And after Luffy defeated Doflamingo, they finally decided to be loyal to Luffy by forming a large fleet.
Dracule Mihawk once said that Luffy's greatest strength is not his physical ability, but how he is able to influence those around him to join the fight and fight together, even though they have never met before.
And this is proven by the formation of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
However, it's likely that they're not the only ones who will join or ally with Luffy.
With the popularity of this pirate group increasing, especially after their victory over Kaido, many other parties will later join Luffy's alliance.
They realized that Luffy was not a random figure, that's why they decided to join their alliance.
Who Will Join?
The first example of another organization or group that might join Luffy's alliance is SWORD. As we know, SWORD is a secret organization in the navy.
They move under the radar, although from yesterday's chapter there are hints that the World Government seems to have started to notice their whereabouts.
It makes sense if SWORD then joins Luffy's alliance, because basically their ideologies are in line.
In the Wano Country arc itself, X Drake has proven what Koby said that Luffy is a good and trustworthy figure.
Drake even mentions that he is now indebted to Luffy and the Straw Hats.
Besides SWORD, there are also other organizations that might be able to join Luffy's alliance, namely the Revolutionary Army.
The Revolutionary Army is the great enemy of the World Government on the mainland.
They are always the target of the Gorosei because the Revolutionary Army is always trying to free various regions in the world of One Piece to be free from the grip of the World Government.
Wano Residents Join
In addition to the organization, Luffy's alliance may also get stronger with the additional strength of various kingdoms in the world of One Piece.
The obvious examples are Wano and Alabasta. Luffy had previously managed to help free the Alabasta region from Crocodile's clutches.
And thanks to that, now the residents of Alabasta and also Vivi, as the leader of the region, became allies of Luffy.
The same is likely to happen to the residents of Wano. For 20 years, they had to live in misery and poverty.
This is the result of Kaido and Orochi's actions. These two really didn't give them a chance at life or anything.
Instead, the residents of Wano have to suffer, either because of hunger or because of poverty.
This is what Luffy then wants to change, and Luffy is determined to eliminate all of it.
Luffy tells Kaido that he wants to build a world where everyone is free to eat to their heart's content, and is free to do whatever they want.
And after Luffy managed to defeat Kaido, he also managed to realize what he said. Kaido's defeat will surely be a new dawn for the people of Wano.
And even though they don't know what happened, they will eventually find out that it was the Straw Hats and their other allies that set them free.
Important figures in the Wano area, Kozuki Momonosuke and also the Red Scabbards, must feel indebted to the Straw Hats for helping them to feel free again.
Looking at the pattern that previously happened to the Alabasta region and Fish-Man Island, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch if the Wano region later merged into another alliance of the Straw Hats.
