Jujutsu Kaisen: Is Gojo Satoru Dead?

Gege Akutami's manga series, Jujutsu Kaisen, is getting ready to release their newest chapter. 

However, until now, the figure of the fans' favorite character, Gojo Satoru, has not been seen. 

This makes many fans raise theories and speculations about the fate of Gojo. 

Of course, what attracted attention was the speculation that Gojo might have died.

Although Akutami himself still hasn't given an answer or confirmation regarding this, it's not impossible if Gojo's fate is bad enough. 

Then, what really happened to Gojo Satoru? Is Gojo really dead or is he actually still alive?

What Happened to Gojo Satoru?

The character of Gojo last appeared in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga series in chapter 91, where he had to be trapped in a dimension called the Prison Realm. 

The figure of Kenjaku aka Pseudo-Geto or fake Geto is the culprit who made Gojo trapped there. 

In the absence of clarity about the fate of this fan-favorite teacher, there has been a lot of speculation and theory.

Many of them wondered whether Gojo would return or leave the Prison Realm. 

Or it will be his last fate alias his death. It's also possible that Gojo might be trapped in that dimension for good. 

If we look at the technical aspect, based on what appeared in the previous chapter for now we can say that Gojo Satoru is still alive.

Even so, Gojo must be trapped inside a cursed object, which means that anyone or anything trapped in it will almost certainly not be able to escape or escape. 

Does that mean Gojo won't die? 

Not really. 

The reason is, Akutami has previously shown a terrible moment in which one of the fans' favorite characters, Kento Nanami, had to die.

Why is Gojo Satoru Stuck in the Prison Realm?

The Jujutsu Kaisen series, which initially went light and fun, started to bring unexpected things. 

The moment began when the series presented the Shibuya Incident arc. 

Since then, there have been many terrible and extraordinary things happening throughout the series. 

One of them was the moment where Gojo had to be trapped in the Prison Realm.

The reason why Gojo was trapped in this dimension can be traced back to the antagonist of the series, Kenjaku. 

He is always afraid of any Jujutsu wizard who has the mighty power of Six Eyes. 

Previously, Kenjaku himself had managed to get rid of the owner of Six Eyes as a baby in order to avoid things he didn't want in the future.

However, it turns out that the power is transferred to someone else. 

Kenjaku then figured out how to stop this. 

Instead of killing the owner of the power, he can prevent the user from using the power of the Six Eyes by sealing it in the dimension he controls. 

Killing Gojo would certainly ruin what he had been working on before.

Sealing him in the Prison Realm will certainly make it easier for Kenjaku to monitor and prevent Gojo from taking actions that could endanger his life. 

On the other hand, Gojo himself is not only a prisoner but a fugitive. 

In chapter 137, it was revealed that the Jujutsu Mage's headquarters named Gojo Satoru as one of the suspects for the incident that occurred in Shibuya.

As a result of this, he also had to get the punishment of being expelled from the world of Jujutsu. 

Any attempt to be made to help Gojo would be considered a criminal act.

Will Gojo Survive?

The big question now is whether Gojo will make it out of there? Is there a way to get out of the Prison Realm? 

Based on the information that appeared in the manga, the answer itself is yes. 

There was a way to escape from the Prison Realm, and Gojo could get out of it. 

Master Tengen has given instructions on how to escape. 

Even so, of course, this is not an easy matter.

Yuuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu, and Megumi Fushigiro have put their strength into saving the master. 

However, what should be noted is that their success rate in doing so is very small. 

There needs to be two open curse objects, of which the two objects are the Black Rope and the Inverted Spear of Heaven. 

However, there is something ironic about this effort.

In the previous story, it was Gojo himself who had destroyed one of the objects of the curse. 

This means that the chances for Gojo to escape from there are getting narrower and smaller. 

Based on this, the conclusion is that Gojo is certainly not dead or will not be killed yet. 

However, trying to get Gojo out of the Prison Realm was almost impossible. 

Maybe he needed another way to get Gojo out of there.
