One Punch Man: Saitama Will Kill Garou?
The latest chapter of the One Punch Man series took all fans by surprise.
The reason is, we see how Saitama is really angry over what he saw.
As we know, in chapter 166 yesterday Garou really showed his newest cosmic power.
After Garou used the Nuclear Fission Fist technique as well as the Gamma Ray Burst, several heroes started to feel the effects.
Many of them were unconscious due to the effects of radiation that emerged from the attack.
It made Garou laugh at how the heroes suffered.
Even so, there are still some of them who survive the radiation. One of them is Genos.
Since he was a cyborg, he didn't feel the effects of the radiation from Garou's attack.
Using the last of his strength, as well as how his body was no longer perfect, Genos kept trying to stop Garou.
However, what happened was that Garou laughed at Genos's attempt.
Not only that, even in the end Genos had to be killed and destroyed by Garou's attack. Saitama saw the terrible moment directly.
On the other hand, Garou himself realizes that by killing his student Saitama will use and muster all his strength.
That way, he can imitate Saitama's style and strength.
And in fact, Saitama did muster all his strength because he was furious to see how Genos died before his eyes.
So the End of Garou's Story in One Punch Man?
The big question that arises in Garou and Saitama's fight this time is whether Garou will be able to survive Saitama's attack?
Will he be able to follow or imitate Saitama's attack?
Some fans think that Garou might be able to imitate Saitama's attack technique.
In fact, not only the technique, but also the strength.
If then Saitama did put all his strength into beating Garou, it's highly likely that Garou would not survive the attack.
Why is that?
This is because Yusuke Murata as well as ONE have presented definite results since the beginning of the series, where Saitama will always win no matter the outcome.
And also he would never be hurt in the slightest.
After all, so far, we've never seen what Saitama's true power is like. He hardly ever displays his full strength.
In fact, he was still holding back in his battle against Awakened Garou, and was not even affected by Garou's two previous epic attacks.
The big mistake Garou made was killing Genos.
Seeing how Saitama's reaction was, it seemed unlikely that Saitama would spare Garou.
However, if later something "magical" appeared in the story, such as time travel, maybe Garou could still survive.
In the previous article, there was also a discussion on how it is possible that Genos can still come back alive because he is basically a cybrog.
Saitama vs God
This can be a way to introduce the God figure in the story, after he had previously appeared in physical form.
Indeed, Garou was different from the Homeless Emperor.
Garou wasn't really under God's control.
However, as Bang said, that the figure of Garou has really "drowned" and not the actual Garou that we see today.
The conclusion is that even if Garou tries to imitate Saitama's true abilities and techniques, it's unlikely that the hero hunter will be able to withstand that power.
Throughout the series, we have received hints of how Saitama's strength is almost immeasurable, aka there is no limit.
If even then Garou was able to imitate Saitama's power, maybe it only lasted for a while.
Because of that, there is a possibility that Garou will die in the next One-Punch Man story due to Saitama's attack.
However, maybe ONE and Murata Sensei had other plans where Garou would survive the attack on a note.
We look forward to the continuation of the story in the next chapter.
