One Piece 1062: Blackbeard Will Swap Coby for Doflamingo
In the previous chapter 1059, Blackbeard took Coby hostage, even though his original goal was to capture Boa Hancock.
Currently, One Piece fans are curious about the fate of Coby after being arrested and what is the purpose of Kurogihe capturing him.
However, as we know that Kurogihr is a very well-planned character so it is not without reason that he holds Coby hostage.
There is a lot of speculation about Blackbeard's intention to kidnap Coby.
One of the interesting speculations is that Blackbeard has a plan to exchange Coby with Doflamingo
So, could this happen?
Marshall D Teach, also known as Blackbeard, can be categorized as one of the most popular Villains in the One Piece series.
His greedy, brutal character, and the heart to betray Whitebeard, made Blackbeard one of the characters that One Piece fans hate.
However, One Piece fans agree that maybe Eiichiro Oda will put Blackbeard as Luffy's last opponent in fighting over One Piece's treasure.
However, there is one interesting thing about Blackbeard, namely his movement in the world of One Piece.
Although in terms of stature he looks stupid, but what he looks like is the best.
Blackbeard was hardly ever seen making movements that tended to be wasted, or even bothering himself.
One of them is presented when Blackbeard suddenly appears in the Calm Belt and is on Amazon Lily Island; the headquarters of the Pirate Queen, Boa Hancock.
Surprisingly, it turned out that Blackbeard came to Amazon Lily with the ambition to kill Boa Hancock and take her Mero Mero no Mi devil fruit.
Fortunately, Blackbeard's efforts were thwarted by Rayleigh.
Unfortunately, Coby, who was also on Amazon Lily to catch Boa Hancock, actually became a 'vent' for Blackbeard who failed to get the Mero Mero no Mi devil fruit.
Blackbeard actually kidnapped Coby who incidentally was the one who had helped him in the Rocky Port Incident.
Previously, there had been speculation that Blackbeard might hand Coby over to the Cross Guild.
As One Piece fans know, the Cross Guild does set a bounty value for each Marine officer; including Coby of course.
However, this theory seems to be debunked.
Logically, with the power of his Yami Yami no Mi devil fruit, it is certainly easy for Blackbeard to catch more than one Marine soldier.
Then, why only Coby was brought by Blackbeard, even though at that time there were also Helmeppo and Vice Admiral Yamakaji?
The reason is because even though Coby's rank is 'only' Captain, the Navy and the whole world know that Coby is the 'Hero of the Rocky Port Incident'.
Coby was clearly more 'of value' than all the Marines who were on Amazon Lily at that time.
So, for what reason did Blackbeard kidnap Coby?
The strongest speculation is that Blackbeard will exchange Coby with Doflamingo who is currently embracing in Impel Down.
As One Piece fans know, Doflamingo is now in Impel Down prison after his defeat against Luffy at Dressrosa.
The Navy will certainly consider saving Coby because he is a valuable asset as well as the next generation in the ranks of Navy officers.
On the other hand, Doflamingo seems to be interested in joining Blackbeard rather than spending the rest of his life in Impel Down.
Maybe Doflamingo won't be part of the Blackbeard group's crew.
However, at least Doflamingo could form an alliance with Blackbeard.
If this is true, then the Blackbeard-Doflamingo combination will really shake the world of One Piece.
