1. Who is Luffy's mother?

The Straw Hat Pirates' captain, Monkey D Luffy, is the son of the leader of the Revolutionary Army, Monkey D Dragon, and the grandson of Vice Admiral Monkey D Garp.

While fans know of his father and grandfather, it is still unknown who gave birth to Luffy.

Eiichiro Oda once said that Luffy's mother was alive and well. Even so, it is still unknown where he is and even what his name is.

Meanwhile, when he was small, Luffy was raised by Garp with Portgas D Ace.

Because Garp had to carry out his duties as a Marine, Luffy and Ace were then entrusted to a bandit named Curly Dadan.

2. Zoro's Background

Roronoa Zoro was the first to join the Straw Hats. When first introduced, it is known that Zoro is from Shimotsuki Village, a village in East Blue.

Zoro aims to defeat Dracule Mihawk and become the strongest swordsman in the world, in order to keep his promise to his deceased childhood friend, Kuina.

While Zoro is training at Kuina's father's dojo, it is unknown who Zoro's family is.

In the Wano Country arc, it was explained that Zoro had a resemblance to the Shimotsuki clan.

He also seems to have a relationship with Shimotsuki Ushimaru and Ryuma.

It is also hinted that Zoro also has a connection with Wano.

3. Who is Robin's father?

Among the Straw Hat crew, Nico Robin's background is one of the most heart-wrenching.

Robin hails from Ohara, home to the world's best congregated scientists and archaeologists.

Robin's mother, Nico Olvia, is also an archaeologist. Olvia decided to sail to research the Void Century, while Robin was entrusted to Olvia's older brother and his wife, namely Oran and Roji.

Here, fans find out who Robin's mother is and who raised her.

However, it is still a mystery who the father of Robin is. In fact, in his flashback, Robin's father is not mentioned in the series at all.

Until now, there is no clue as to who Robin's father is.

4. Who are Franky's parents?

Franky was a shipbuilder in the Straw Hats who joined the crew in Water 7.

In his flashback, it is revealed that Franky is from South Blue and his parents were pirates.

However, for no apparent reason, they throw Franky into the ocean and he is saved by Tom.

Franky then grows up as a student of Tom with Iceburg.

Meanwhile, it is unknown who Franky's parents had the heart to throw their own child into the ocean. Also, there is no clue as to whether they are still sailing or not.

5. Jinbe's knowledge of Nika

Wano Country arc has given us a big surprise about Luffy's Devil Fruit.

The Devil Fruit that we know as Gomu Gomu no Mi, turns out to be a Mythical Zoan type Devil Fruit, namely Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. While fans were surprised by this reveal, Jinbe seems to have known something about Nika long ago.

In his fight against the Who's Who, Who's Who talks about the figure of Nika who has existed since the Void Age and was greatly adored by the slaves.

Through the conversation, Who's Who tried to dig up information about Nika through Jinbe, but Jinbe refused.

Mystery has indeed become a part of One Piece.
