5 Strongest Blacklist Hunter in the Hunter x Hunter Anime Series

You could say that the Blacklist Hunter is one of the strongest types of Hunters in the Hunter Association. 

Similar to bounty hunters, Blacklist Hunter's job is to hunt down criminals and their pay depends on how much the head of the criminals they catch.

So far, only a few characters have been introduced as Blacklist Hunters in this series. 

Well, here are the five strongest Blacklist Hunters in the Hunter x Hunter series.

1. Kurapika

Kurapika is one of the main characters in Hunter x Hunter who takes the exam with Gon, Killua, and Leorio.

After graduating as a Hunter and studying Nen, Kurapika immediately became a Blacklist Hunter to hunt down the Phantom Troupe, the criminal organization that had massacred the Kurta clan.

In terms of strength, Kurapika is a very talented Nen user.

Kurapika is a Conjuration-type Nen user whose strength rests on chains.

Moreover, as a member of the Kurta clan, Kurapika also has special eyes that make him even stronger.

2. Saiyu

Saiyu is a Blacklist Hunter who is also a member of the Zodiac. 

In addition, he is also a member of the Defense Team that was created to prepare for the expedition to the Dark Continent.

Just like Kurapika, Saiyu is also a Conjuration type Nen user. 

One of his flagship moves is Three Monkeys which allows him to use three monkeys, namely Mizaru, Kikazaru, and Iwazaru. 

When Saiyu manages to attack his enemy with his three monkeys, his enemy will be unable to see, hear, and speak.

3. Binolt

Binolt was first introduced as one of the antagonists in the Greed Island arc. 

Apart from the fact that Binolt is a criminal, Binolt is also a Blacklist Hunter. 

Binolt is arguably stronger than Gon and Killua before their training with Biscuit Krueger.

Binolt has Nen abilities which are not physically strong, but very useful. 

Named as the Scissor Hand, Binolt can get detailed information about a person. 

From his age to his strength, he can tell just by cutting his target's hair and eating it.

4. Bushidora Ambitious

Bushidora Ambitious is a One-Star in Blacklist Hunter and member of the Disciplinary Committee at the Hunter Association who has proposed revisions to the 10 Hunter Rules. 

Given his fairly high position in the Hunter Association, Bushidora certainly has great strength as a Hunter.

Unfortunately, the series never showed the power of Bushidora. 

It was last known that he was involved in a fight with Hisoka Morow. 

Bushidora ends up dead at the hands of Hisoka, but the fight is not shown to the audience.

5. Lippo

Lippo is a Blacklist Hunter who was one of the examiners in the Hunter Exam in the fourth and fifth phases. 

So far, Lippo's character has not been explored by the series.

It is unknown how his job as a Blacklist Hunter is and what his powers are like. 

Even so, as the person chosen to be the examiner in the Hunter Exam, Lippo at least had strong Nen abilities.

It is not surprising that the Blacklist Hunter is called the most dangerous type of Hunter. 

How not, a Blacklist Hunter must wrestle with criminals every day.
