In every ninja world war in the Naruto franchise, there is always one figure of the strongest shinobi that is feared and even capable of bringing victory.

Minato Namikaze

The third shinobi world war takes place approximately 10 years before the main storyline of Naruto begins. 

This war is considered to be very brutal and terrible, which forces children who have never had any experience of fighting to join the fight. 

It is known that Danzo later became the mastermind behind the incident. 

Danzo deliberately pitted the fire nation and the land nation against each other.

It was in this battle that Obito almost died and gave his Sharingan to Kakashi. 

The strongest ninja who later appeared in this battle was Uzumaki Naruto's father, Minato Uzumaki.
