Naruto: Who is Hagoromo Otsutsuki's Father?

Hagoromo Otsutsuki is one of the strongest and most influential characters in stories in the Naruto franchise, which turns out he has a father who is an ordinary human. 

The name Hagoromo Otsutsuki may be familiar to all geeks, especially fans of the Naruto series. 

The Otsutsuki clan itself was first introduced at the end of the series, where we get to know Kaguya Otsutsuki.

Apart from Kaguya, Kishimoto also later introduced other Otsutsuki who had been on earth where one of them was Hagoromo Otsutsuki. 

Hagoromo had a huge impact on the shinobi world, where he indirectly became the "creator" of shinobi.

Who is Hagoromo

Hagoromo Otsutsuki or commonly known as Rikkudo Sennin, is one of the strongest characters in the Naruto franchise. 

He is also considered as one of the strongest characters among the Otsutsuki clan. Hagoromo was the first child of Kaguya Otsutsuki. 

Since childhood, Hagoromo has become a strong figure which is proven by the Doujutsu Rinnegan in his eyes.

With the abilities he has and the Rinnegan in his eyes, Hagoromo is unrivaled. 

Hagoromo's ability made Kaguya feel threatened. 

One example of his strength is when he created the moon using the Chibaku Tensei technique. 

Hagoromo had fought against his mother who was trying to steal his strength and also his younger brother, Hamura Otsutsuki.

Their fight lasted for three months, after which Hamura and Hagoromo succeeded in sealing Kaguya. 

Hagoromo himself later became the first Jinchuuriki, where he became the vessel for the 10-tailed beast resurrected by Kaguya. 

Before his death, he had split the monster's chakra into nine which became known as Bijuu aka Tailed Beast.

Hagoromo once again appeared during the fourth great ninja war, where the Rikkudo Sennin appeared in Naruto and Sasuke's subconscious. 

After a long discussion, Hagoromo finally gave some of his strength to Naruto and Sasuke. 

This is what later made them both finally have Six Path chakra.

Hagoromo's Father Figure

With such a strong figure, geeks are of course curious about Hagoromo's origins. 

We already know who his mother is, who is none other than Kaguya Otsutsuki. Then, who is Hagoromo's father? 

Apparently, Hagoromo's father was not part of the Otsutsuki clan. 

He is just an ordinary human, whose name is Tenji. Who is the real Tenji? 

How then could he meet Kaguya?

When Kaguya is sent to Earth to harvest a chakra fruit, it turns out she has other feelings for this planet. 

He fell in love with the earth as well as humanity. Besides that, Kaguya also fell in love with an earth man named Tenji. Tenji is the leader of the Land of Ancestors. 

When Tenji first met Kaguya, at that time her territory was in a battle with other regions regarding territorial ownership rights.

Unlike his enemies, Tenji tries not to solve everything by force, but by means of peace and negotiation. 

When Tenji meets Kaguya, Tenji is surprised to find out that Kaguya is from another planet. 

How the peace-loving Tenji made Kaguya fall in love with him is also the reason why he likes to live on earth.

Tenji also allowed Kaguya to live in his territory, and he also began to fall in love with Kaguya. 

A big dispute had occurred, when Tenji was too in love with Kaguya and he also threatened with violence against his followers if they broke the peace he had built. 

Annoyed by this, most of his subordinates tried to kill Kaguya which resulted in nothing because Kaguya's strength was too great.

Conflict ensued between Tenji and his followers and Kaguya. After eating the chakra fruit, Kaguya then uses Infinite Tsukuyomi. 

Tenji himself did not realize that at that time Kaguya was pregnant with his child. 

Unfortunately, Masashi Kishimoto himself did not give clear instructions about when Kaguya gave birth to his child.

Tenji's Influence on the Shinobi World

Based on the explanation above. the figure of Tenji is indirectly responsible for two things. 

The first is the emergence of the Kaguya clan. 

Second, he was indirectly responsible for the birth of the shinobi world. 

As the name implies, the Kaguya clan is a clan that is descended from Kaguya Otsutsuki.

 However, as with the birth of Hagoromo and Hamura, it is not known when this clan was formed.

However, there has been much speculation that this clan might have formed after Kaguya gave birth to Hagoromo and Hamura. 

The Kaguya clan itself is currently extinct, with Kimimaro's character being its last descendant. 

Apart from the birth of the Kaguya clan, Tenji also indirectly influenced the birth of the shinobi world. 

This happened after he became the father of Hagoromo and Hamura.

As mentioned above, Hagoromo is considered a god for the shinobi world because he is the one who gave birth to various things about shinobi.
