Has the anime series Spy x Family been renewed for season 3?

The anime series has been launched in two parts, with season 1 and season 2 of Spy x Family currently available for online streaming. 

The anime has performed very well so far.

Tatsuya Endo's Japanese manga series, Spy x Family, has taken the world by storm with Anya's cuteness and the Forger family's hysterical way of leading their so-called normal lives.

Tatsuya also worked as an assistant for the famous Blue Exorcist manga. 

The series has been serialized on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ app and website since March 2019.

As of October 2022, 10 Tankobon volumes (76 manga chapters in total) have been collected. 

Wit Studio and CloverWorks produced an anime adaptation of Spy x Family Season 1 in April 2022, and a second season premiered in January 2023.

Coming to the best part is, unlike many great anime like No Game No Life, Accel World, Hyouka, etc which can't come in another season, Spy x Family is going to have season 3.

When Will Spy x Family Season 3 Release?

Let's start with the most controversial topic out there, which is the update of the anime. 

There is no doubt that Spy x Family has received high ratings from its fans out there. 

If the anime is updated by the production house or studio, it could be a profitable deal for them.

The first two seasons of this anime were released in 2022. 

Spy x Family season 1 was released in April 2022, while season 2 was launched in October 2022. 

According to my latest source, Season 2 is confirmed to be completed later this year.

We have seen 22 amazing episodes of this epic anime series and we are all excited to see the end of it. 

The complex storyline is very engaging for the audience.

I myself am eagerly waiting to see the final episode of Spy x Family season 2. 

But we also cannot ignore the fact that the story may end in this season. Slowly but surely, the gaps have started to fill.

The last three episodes of Spy x Family season 2 are just a few weeks away from airing. 

I won't give you false hope, but the possibility of an update for this series is very slim. 

Spy x Family may never be released again!

Indeed, the anime series is rumored not to come out until Season 3.

Unfortunately, I do not have any information about the exact release date or estimate for Spy x Family season 3, whether it will be released or not.

We all want to see the continuation of the story and that is only possible if we get a new chapter from Endo. 

But it will take a lot of time.

Writers take years to complete a manga series. 

If Endo decides to work further on Spy × Family, then a new chapter of the manga will be published in 2023. 

The date could also be shifted to 2024.

Thus, the Spy x Family season 3 update is still two to three years away from now.
