Honkai Star Rail just introduced a new DPS character with some seriously brutal damage output.

Yep, Argenti has successfully shaken things up by changing how people look at characters from the eruditio path.

With his spam-ultimate gameplay and brutal AoE damage, Argenti can shine and become one of the best DPS characters in the game.

Now, for those of you who've got your hands on this character and are scratching your heads about his build, here's my recommendation for relics and lightcones.

Just like any DPS character, prioritize using relics with crit rate or crit damage stats, followed by speed and attack.

Best Relic for Argenti

As a character with a physical element, the best relic set for him is the Champion of Streetwise Boxing. Equipping this 4-set relic, Argenti gains an additional 10% physical damage and up to 25% extra attack.

These numbers are quite substantial and, in my opinion, will undoubtedly have a significant impact in battles. If you don't have this set, you can alternatively use two sets that provide additional attack.

However, it's crucial to prioritize the stats on your relics over the set bonuses. Having a great set bonus won't matter much if the stats on your relics are subpar.

Focus on using relics with excellent stats first, and then gradually farm for relics with matching set bonuses and good stats.

Just like any DPS character, prioritize using relics with crit rate or crit damage stats, followed by speed and attack.

Best Planar Ornaments for Argenti

For planar ornaments, I recommend the Inert Salsotto set as it provides an 8% bonus to crit rate and increases your ultimate damage.

Alternatively, you can consider the Firmament Frontline: Glamoth or Space Stealing Station sets.

For stats, prioritize physical damage and attack, with sub-stats such as crit rate or crit damage.

Best Lightcone for Argenti

Argenti can use any lightcone, so there's no need for a specific one to make him effective. Here are two recommendations, one for those willing to spend and one for F2P players.

Premium Lightcone for Argenti

For premium lightcones, the obvious choice is Argenti's signature lightcone, "An Instant Before a Gaze." This lightcone provides additional crit damage and increases the damage of Argenti's ultimate based on the maximum energy.

Another option is from the battle pass, "Today is Another Peaceful Day." Similar to Argenti's signature lightcone, it also enhances the damage of Argenti's ultimate based on the maximum energy.

F2P-Friendly Lightcone for Argenti

For F2P players, two lightcone recommendations for Argenti are "Make the World Clamor" and "The Seriousness of Breakfast."

"Make the World Clamor" immediately fills Argenti's energy at the beginning of the battle and provides additional damage to his ultimate by a percentage. This is beneficial for Argenti to unleash his ultimate right away without waiting for several turns. The added damage to his ultimate is also a significant boost.

"The Seriousness of Breakfast" offers substantial bonus damage and attack when Argenti defeats an enemy.
