One Piece 1140 Spoilers Reddit: Luffy vs. Gaban, and the Appearance of Other God's Knights

The spoilers for One Piece 1140 have finally arrived after a one-week break. 

Oda-sensei once again delivers exciting surprises in the latest chapter of One Piece. A quick recap of Chapter 1139: the previous chapter left a strong impression with the appearance of Scopper Gaban, a character long-awaited by fans.

One Piece 1139 ended on a tense note, with Gaban challenging Luffy to a fight to retrieve the key to the chains binding Loki. 

This week, the atmosphere in Elbaph will become even more intense. 

In addition to the battle between Luffy and Gaban, we will also be introduced to two more God's Knights besides Shamrock and Gunko. 

Quoting a summary from user @pewpiece on X, here are the spoilers for One Piece 1140.

The chapter opens with a scene of the battle between Luffy and Gaban. 

It appears that Gaban is dominating the fight. Luffy even resorts to using Gear 5 to try and seize the key from Gaban. 

Zoro also steps in to assist Luffy. Shortly after Gear 5 is activated, Gaban finally surrenders and hands over Loki's key to Luffy. 

Shifting to another moment, One Piece 1140 shows a lot of activity among the God's Knights.

Gunko is seen creating a magic circle, which is later revealed to be called "Abyss". From this magic circle, two other God's Knights emerge. 

The first God's Knight is named "Saint Sommers" from the Shepherd Family. This family name is the same as one of the Gorosei, Saint Shepherd Ju Peter. 

Saint Sommers is a large man with long hair, a beard, and glasses. 

The second God's Knight is named "Saint Gillingham" from the Limotive Family. 

Saint Gillingham is highly likely to possess the Kirin Devil Fruit power, as he appears in a hybrid form resembling a Kirin.

In Japanese mythology, a Kirin is a creature resembling a deer with dragon-like features covering its body. It is also depicted as having a cow-like tail and a long mane. 

These two God's Knights are sent to Elbaph because Shamrock has been called back to Mary Geoise. 

One Piece 1140 concludes with Shamrock hinting that he will "start a game" in Elbaph. 

The most important detail is that One Piece will not be on break next week. 

Chapter 1141 will be released by the end of February. Meanwhile, One Piece Chapter 1140 will be officially available on Manga Plus on February 23, 2025.
